The Westin Tokyo will be hosting a Matcha Dessert Buffet on weekdays from July 1 to August 31, 2021, at its first-floor international restaurant, "The Terrace," where guests can enjoy a variety of desserts totaling approximately 40 different types over two months, with the menu changing monthly. Additionally, from July 3 to August 29, on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays only, the first-floor lobby lounge, "The Lounge," will be offering a Matcha Afternoon Tea, combining high-quality matcha with summer fruits to create exquisite sweets. These two plans offer a luxurious moment where you can immerse yourself in the profound world of matcha, a fragrant Japanese ingredient.

Matcha Dessert Buffet
"The Terrace" will be hosting a "Matcha Dessert Buffet." Using lavish matcha from Uji and Nishio, desserts that highlight the appeal of matcha by combining it with a variety of ingredients will be lined up on the buffet table. The dessert menu will change every month, with around 40 different types available over the two months. This varied and unique lineup will create a world of matcha desserts. "The appeal of matcha is its aroma and bitterness," says Executive Pastry Chef Suzuki Kazuo. This dessert buffet offers a variety of beautifully crafted, delicate desserts, each carefully crafted down to the smallest detail, allowing you to enjoy the deep flavor and rich aroma of matcha to your heart's content.

Matcha Afternoon Tea is served in the elegant lobby lounge "The Lounge," featuring an open atrium and stately marble pillars. The tea stand is decorated with a variety of refreshing sweets that skillfully combine high-quality matcha with ingredients unique to summer, bringing out the charm of the fragrant matcha. Sweets with a striking balance of bitterness, sweetness, and sourness can be enjoyed with specially selected eggless scones and savory items, as well as a wide selection of 15 drinks. This afternoon tea is set in a classical lounge overlooking the sparkling green garden, allowing you to relax and enjoy enchanting matcha sweets.
