
The "SATSUKI LOUNGE," a tea and cocktail bar on the first floor of Hotel New Otani Osaka, will be hosting the "Sweets & Sandwich Buffet - Mango, Peach, and Melon" from July 1 to August 31.
Hotel New Otani Osaka's buffet, popular every season, offers luxurious seasonal sweets. This time, the buffet will feature sweets made with plenty of mango, peach, and melon, which are synonymous with luxury summer fruits and are rich in vitamins.
Among the new sweets to look out for are the "Peach Compote," in which the chef carefully peels each peach and marinates them in a special syrup with secret ingredients of white wine and lemon, allowing you to enjoy the natural flavor of the peach; the "Mango Mille-feuille," which combines mango and custard for a crispy exterior and melt-in-your-mouth texture; and the cute pink "Peach Macaron," with a subtle peach flavor. In addition to summer-only sweets, the buffet will also feature the "ultimate shortcake" "Extra Super Mango Shortcake," priced at 3,500 yen per slice, making its first appearance. Four petite-sized varieties will also be available: "Super Melon Shortcake," "Tokyo Super Pure Pudding," and "Super Classic Twin Roll." Other items include the hotel's signature pancakes, a new sandwich created by Executive Chef Shoji Nishiguchi called the "Peach & Prosciutto Melon Bread Sandwich," and the ethnic-inspired "Coconut Mango Curry." The first part of the buffet will be served from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, and the second part from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM, with the second part only available on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. However, on August 5th, 6th, and 11th through 13th, the first part will be served from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, and the second part will be served from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM. The admission fee is 5,000 yen for adults (5,500 yen on holidays), 2,500 yen for elementary school students, and 1,000 yen for infants (ages 4 and up).
