Fiorentina Pastry Boutique, located inside the Grand Hyatt Tokyo in Roppongi, Tokyo, will be selling sweets and icing cookies made with fresh seasonal cherries.
From late May to late June, Fiorentina Pastry Boutique, located on the first floor of the hotel, will be introducing four new sweets made with sweet and sour seasonal fresh berries. The lineup includes "Gâteau Nancy" (12cm/3,900 yen), a moist gateau chocolat baked using almonds and topped with plenty of fresh cream and cherries; "Mille-feuille Cerise Piece" (6cm/650 yen), a crispy pie crust filled with homemade cherry jelly and vanilla cream and topped with pistachio cream and cherries; "Forêt Noire" (7cm/700 yen), a layer of sweet chocolate mousse filled with pistachio crumble and cherry jelly, coated in white chocolate and topped with fresh cherries and jelly; and "Confiture Cerise" (1,400 yen), an original jam made with seasonal American and griotte cherries. Additionally, the Oak Door Bar on the hotel's 6th floor will be serving monster milkshakes until August 31st that will have you posting them on social media. There will be five of each available each day: the non-alcoholic "Strawberry Banana Milkshake" (1,550 yen), based on banana and strawberry, and garnished with strawberries, marshmallows, and strawberry sauce; the "Matcha Milkshake" (1,800 yen), made with whiskey, liqueur, and soy milk and topped with matcha-flavored marshmallows, Pocky, and brownie whipped cream; and the "Acai Bowl Milkshake" (2,000 yen), inspired by acai bowls and featuring acai, fresh strawberries, blueberries, whipped cream, and the scent of cassis liqueur.
Icing cookies with rainy season motifs will also be available until mid-July. The cookies are all handmade, from baking to decoration, and include "Plui Cookies" (3 varieties, 850 yen each), vanilla-flavored cookies shaped like umbrellas, snails, and rain dolls, and "Pioggia Cookies (set of 4)" (1,200 yen), bite-sized vanilla cookies with icing decorated with rain, boots, umbrellas, and rain dolls.
