Starbucks Coffee stores will be selling a new menu item, "Shaken Watermelon & Passion Tea," for a limited time from June 28th to August 31st.

The drink's base, passion tea, is a red, caffeine-free herbal tea blended with hibiscus flowers, papaya, mango, lemongrass, and more.

This base is combined with a watermelon juice base full of fresh watermelon juice, and slices of freeze-dried lime are added to add color and flavor, and each cup is shaken individually by a barista.

The innovative combination of passion tea and watermelon quenches your thirst the moment you take a sip, just like taking a bite of freshly sliced watermelon, making it the perfect midsummer drink. Available at Starbucks stores nationwide (excluding some stores), prices are 390 yen for a short, 430 yen for a tall, 470 yen for a grande, and 510 yen for a venti(R), while supplies last.
