Moncler, known for its alpine heritage, and Jil Sander, celebrated for its precise and minimal design language, debut their first collaborative collection, Moncler + Jil Sander, launching on Tuesday, November 18. Drawing inspiration from the quiet elegance of nature, the collection blends functionality with refined craftsmanship, presenting silhouettes that capture both mountain traditions and contemporary design.

At the heart of the collaboration is a dialogue between Moncler’s outdoor lineage and Jil Sander’s commitment to material excellence, structure, and clarity. Softly rounded lines and voluminous layering echo the organic forms found in nature, while premium fabrics—double wool, long-hair wool, cotton twill, and down-filled nylon—underscore the collection’s tactile sophistication. The result is an exploration of modern outerwear that balances comfort, purity, and sculptural presence.

The visual presentation was unveiled through a short film produced in a digital studio. Snow-covered landscapes, rolling hills, and pine forests are projected across the scene, allowing shifting light and texture to highlight the movement of each garment. The interplay between clothing and natural imagery reinforces the collection’s serene yet powerful aesthetic.

The collection launches Tuesday, November 18, available at Moncler boutiques and the official Moncler online store, as well as Jil Sander’s key stores and official online channels. Select Japanese retailers will also carry the line.In Japan, ISETAN SHINJUKU will host a pop-up event: Women’s from November 18 to 24, and Men’s from November 25 to December 1.
