Sébastien Bouillet, a patisserie in Lyon, France, will be relaunching its petit gateaux on June 5, 2020. We offer seven different gateaux, including a twist on classic French styles. This lineup is perfect for the coming season as the days get warmer.

We have prepared a number of noteworthy flavors, including the "Strawberry and Pistachio Shortcake" topped with strawberries, the "Apricot and Citrus Gâteau Chocolat" layered with chocolate dough and apricot jam, and the "Tarte Tatin Exotic" which combines mango and pineapple compote with passion fruit cream.
Please enjoy a variety of gateaux that are not only beautiful to look at, but also made with great care for the ingredients and texture.

Strawberry and Pistachio Shortcake: An adaptation of the classic cake, shortcake

This shortcake has a beautiful contrast, with pistachio sponge cake layered with strawberries and cream. The well-balanced flavor of the pistachio sponge cake and the tartness of the strawberries spreads throughout your mouth. You can enjoy a unique taste of this classic shortcake, adapted in Sebastian's style.

Tax included: ¥756 (Product price: ¥700)

Enjoy the marriage of refreshing citrus aroma and bitter chocolate with this "Apricot and Citrus Gateau Chocolat"

Chocolate dough soaked in orange syrup and kumquat and apricot compote are layered together. The layered dough is coated with crème chocolat and the cake is topped with apricot. The marriage of the refreshing citrus aroma and bitter, melt-in-your-mouth chocolate is exquisite.

Tax included: ¥702 (Product price: ¥650)

Enjoy the traditional French taste of "Tarte Flan"

A gateau unique to French patisseries, with tart dough filled with flan made with vanilla beans. The flan has a custard cream flavor and is an adaptation of the one sold at our store in Lyon, France. The key points are the aroma of vanilla beans and the smooth texture of the flan.

Tax included: ¥540 (Product price: ¥500)

A vibrantly coloured "Tarte Tatin Exotic" made with fresh fruit

A coconut almond dough layered with passion fruit cream and mango and pineapple compote. A refreshing tart with vibrant colours from the seasonal mango, pineapple and passion fruit. The fragrant aroma of coconut and the tartness of the passion fruit cream add accents to the flavour.

Tax included: ¥627 (Product price: ¥580)

"Red Fruit Rare Cheese" - a compote of four kinds of fruit enhances the smooth cheese mousse

Smooth cheese mousse is combined with dacquoise dough and fruit compote. The dacquoise dough is sandwiched with a compote of four kinds of fruit - strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and griottes - and underneath is a crunchy crispy cookie, creating a gateau with a rich texture.

Tax included: ¥648 (Product price: ¥600)

In addition to the gateaux introduced here, we also offer other carefully crafted gateaux. Why not treat yourself, celebrate a special anniversary, or take one home as a gift?
