Shiseido Parlour Ginza Main Restaurant will be holding a piping hot "Gratin & Stew Fair" from January 10th to 31st.
During the event, the restaurant will be offering five gratin and stew dishes, ranging from traditional dishes that have been served since the restaurant's opening to new dishes making their debut. The first dish to be offered is the "Seafood and Colorful Vegetable Hollandaise Sauce Gratin" (3,200 yen), which features fresh seafood such as head-on shrimp, sole, and scallops, grilled with colorful vegetables and hollandaise sauce. The restaurant's signature "Beef Stew Shiseido Parlour Style" (3,500 yen), which has been available since the restaurant opened, is a masterpiece featuring the delicious flavor of a demi-glace sauce that takes four days to prepare. The beef, marinated overnight in red wine with mirepoix, is incredibly tender, making this an irresistible dish.
Other dishes on offer include "Domestic Beef Tongue Stew with Potato Puree" (3,500 yen), stewed in a rich demi-glace sauce and tomato; "Florence-style Oyster Gratin" (2,900 yen), made with seasonal oysters, spinach, and white sauce; and "Scallop Coquillage Gratin" (2,900 yen), a savory dish of scallops and shrimp hidden in a white sauce and baked with mashed potatoes. For an additional 1,540 yen, you can enjoy a set with your favorite dish, including today's soup, salad, and coffee.
