
Shiseido Parlour Ginza Main Store has begun accepting reservations for its 2016 Christmas cakes. This time, they are offering four types of Christmas cakes, each with gorgeous decorations and carefully crafted flavors. Among them, "Gâteau Noel" (6,000 yen including tax) is a gorgeous, three-tiered shortcake resembling a tree. It's made with bright red domestic strawberries and fluffy, light, and lightly creamy white cream, accented with strawberries and strawberry jelly. "Noel du Chocolat" (5,000 yen) is a cake that allows you to enjoy the marriage of exotic cream made with tropical fruits and the refreshing herb "dill." It's wrapped in a rich, cocoa-flavored chocolate mousse and decorated with chocolate holly and ribbons. Also available is the "Gâteau Cadou" series (6,190 yen including tax), inspired by gift boxes adorned with gorgeous ribbons. It comes in two varieties: "Gâteau Cadeau Noel," decorated with a chocolate plate and gold leaf, and "Gâteau Cadeau Blanc," a white chocolate mousse with a subtle rose scent, filled with fromage blanc mousse, champagne mousse, baked cheesecake, and more.
