Limited-time release of Ruby Danish and Brioche at Beurre Ange, in collaboration with picture book "11 Cats"

Nov 1, 2019
Boulangerie BOUL'ANGE will be releasing a limited-time menu using unpeeled Kogyoku apples from Sannohe, Aomori Prefecture, at all stores from November 5th.

Apple and Yuzu Danish (280 yen)
This time, the menu uses carefully selected unpeeled apples from Sannohe, Aomori Prefecture, where these precious apples are harvested, allowing you to enjoy the natural flavor of the apple. The Kogyoku apples are grown using a "leafless" cultivation method, which means that the nutrients and sugars produced by the leaves exposed to sunlight are poured into the apple itself to the fullest extent possible, resulting in an exquisite balance of sweetness that brings out the sourness of the Kogyoku apples.

The main dish, "Apple and Yuzu Danish" (280 yen), is a beautiful-looking Danish pastry, with the skin-on Kogyoku apples shaped like flower petals. The rich sweetness of the Kogyoku apples, enhanced by sautéing them with vanilla and cinnamon, and the refreshing aroma of the yuzu peel added as an accent, fill your mouth with this dish.

"Apple and Lily Root Anpan" (300 yen)
Other menu items using Red Delicious apples from Sannohe Town, Aomori Prefecture include "Apple and Lily Root Anpan" (300 yen), a brioche baked in the shape of an apple, and "Apple and Cinnamon Mont Blanc" (350 yen), a cornet made with the shop's popular croissant dough and topped with caramel milk cream made with apples and cinnamon.

In addition, limited-time stores will sell original products from Sannohe Seihin, which promotes urban development in Sannohe Town, Aomori Prefecture. The lineup includes items that allow you to fully enjoy the deliciousness of Koudama apples, such as "Koudama Juice" (1,180 yen) packed with the flavor of Satoyama orchards, "100-Year-Old Koudama Juice" (2,500 yen) that allows you to enjoy the mellow acidity that only 20 100-year-old Koudama apples can offer, "Koudama Jam with Skin" (900 yen) and "Light Koudama Compote" (850 yen), which go perfectly with Beurre Ange bread. The limited-time bread menu and Mito Seihin products will be available from November 5th and will be available until the end of December.
