About Kyoto Nekoneko

●What is "Kyoto Nekoneko"?
A cat-shaped bakery and sweets specialty store. They offer products that are perfect not only for souvenirs and gifts, but also for everyday meals and a variety of other occasions. The logo is inspired by the image of "en" (connections) that form relationships, the Japanese "wa" (harmony) that is typical of Kyoto, the "circle" and "family crest" of people, and features a cat bowing inside. In fact, this cat is bowing at a "22-degree angle (meow meow)". The double round circle is not only inspired by a plate, but also represents the "en" (connections) of Nekoneko. Please enjoy Kyoto's Nekoneko bread, which will be a part of your daily life.

●Kyoto Nekoneko Bread
Made with Danish dough that is made with plenty of fermented butter from France. The dough is woven into a three-braid pattern and baked in a mold, which prevents the moisture from escaping, resulting in a moist texture. It is also sprinkled with coarse sugar, giving it a deliciously crispy texture all the way to the crust.

● Neko Neko Shokupan
Made with 100% domestic soybeans. This fresh white bread is made using soy milk produced by a tofu shop in Kyoto. While still using the same water-free manufacturing method that is characteristic of Neko Neko Shokupan, we have added soy milk made from domestic soybeans in addition to cow's milk, resulting in a mellow, rich flavor and a moist, chewy texture. What's more, we use soy cream instead of mascarpone cheese and soy milk cream butter instead of butter, allowing you to enjoy a white bread that is even more Kyoto-esque and Japanese. The lineup includes plain, roasted green tea and matcha.
Introducing our new product, "Neko Neko Butter Cookies"!

We will also be selling the new, adorable cat-shaped "Neko Neko Butter Cookies." These soft, plain-flavored cookies are perfect for home use, and also make great gifts. (Price: 1,200 yen + tax for a box of 15 sheets)
