Dune L'Arte, the bakery with the logo that has impressed bread lovers [This Week's Bread: Vol. 5]

Event Date:2019.07.31-08.06
Aug 1, 2019
In this week's Bread of the Week, the FASHION HEADLINE editorial team introduces the breads we're currently catching our eye.
In this fifth installment, I, Editor S, will introduce bread from "d'une rarete," a bakery I adore.

d'une rarete

Many of you may recognize the catchy Gothic logo. Back when the bakery was located in Omotesando, fashion industry figures would carry "d'une rarete" paper bags. True to its name, "d'une rarete" (rare in kind), "d'une rarete" strives to be a unique bakery, offering bread that can be enjoyed for a variety of dining occasions. The bread is safe and secure, with no preservatives or additives. The bread is always designed to be simply delicious, and the bakery strives to deliver the ultimate in deliciousness.

The breads lined up in the stylish store are all small in size, giving off an elegant impression. Orders are taken in the style of a cake shop, with staff carefully taking the bread out of the display case. Dune L'Arte was probably one of the first bakeries to adopt this style of customer service.

Luxurious, Chunky Raisin Bread
___________________________

Raisin Bread (451 yen) *Limited quantity

This raisin bread is a luxuriously balanced blend of three types of raisins. You can enjoy the fresh sweetness and tartness of each raisin. The melt-in-your-mouth dough is kneaded with fresh cream and butter (30% of flour) to add richness. Raisin bread has become a secret favorite of mine. Of all the breads I've tried, this might be my best... I want to slice it thick, lightly brown it in the toaster, and eat it right away!!! I think I'll be able to get up early tomorrow morning.
