In this week's Bread of the Week, the FASHION HEADLINE editorial team introduces the breads they're currently catching our eye. For our second installment, we're featuring "Ore no Bakery & Cafe"!

Ore no Bakery & Cafe was launched in 2016 by Ore no Co., Ltd., the company behind popular restaurants like "Ore no Italian" and "Ore no French," known for their dishes made with generous amounts of premium ingredients. Based on the idea of "allowing as many people as possible to enjoy the finest, carefully crafted bread," the bakery offers a variety of breads and sandwiches made with carefully selected ingredients, including the popular "Ginza Shokupan ~Kaori~."

Ginza Bread ~Fragrance~ (1,001 yen)
This is the shop's most popular item, made with milk from free-range cows at Nakahora Farm in Iwate Prefecture and domestically grown Kitano Kaori wheat. To fully enjoy its chewy texture and milky sweetness all the way to the slightly salty crust, we recommend trying it straight out without baking. You'll be able to savor the rich aroma of wheat and the sweetness of milk that spreads with each bite.
The side of the bread is branded with the character "kaori." The dense cross-section conveys its chewy texture.

Okukuji Egg Sandwich (880 yen)
A rich, flavorful sandwich made with "Ginza Shokupan -Kaori-" bread and "Okukuji Egg," a premium brand of eggs from Ibaraki Prefecture. The light Japanese seasoning allows you to fully enjoy the richness and umami of the eggs and the sweetness of the bread. Despite the generous amount of eggs, the bread is cut into slits, making it easy to eat and less likely to stain your mouth.

If you have a sweet tooth, you should definitely check out the "Ogura Butter Sandwich." This mountain-shaped slice of bread, baked using a white wine leavening agent, is filled with a generous amount of ogura bean paste and thickly sliced butter. The deep sweetness of the red bean paste and the richness of the salted butter go perfectly with the refreshing taste of the bread! It's delicious enough to enjoy as a meal, or as a 3 o'clock snack with coffee.
