"Chè 333", a store specialising in the local Vietnamese sweet "chè", will open on July 20th inside "Chè 333", a select shop for Asian goods in Gakugei University.
 "Chè"
 "Chè"
"Chè" is a traditional dessert made by combining several ingredients, such as sweetly boiled beans, tapioca, agar, and fruit. They offer both hot and cold versions, with the hot ché being similar to Japanese zenzai, and the iced ché combining fruit, tapioca, jelly, and other ingredients with sweetly simmered mung bean paste, topped with shaved ice and syrup for a unique shaved ice-like flavor.
The shop mainly serves iced ché. Choose from four bases - coconut milk, mango coconut, jasmine syrup, or red bean milk - and customize yours with over 10 toppings. The toppings include herbal jelly, white wood ear mushrooms, water chestnuts, and longans - all of which give a local Vietnamese feel.
 "Sinh Tố"
"Sinh Tố"
In addition to chae, other drinks include "yogurt coffee," which is still unfamiliar in Japan, and "Sinh Tố," a Vietnamese smoothie made with pineapple, passion fruit, ginger chai, and coconut milk. You can enjoy Vietnamese sweets that have been updated with a modern twist in the "Ba Ba Ba" style.
