Toraya, a Japanese confectionery shop with a history of around 500 years, will be selling sweets for a limited time related to Hinamatsuri, a long-standing festival celebrated to pray for the healthy growth of girls.
"Hinaseiro" (each one-tiered 1,944 yen incl. tax, two-tiered 3,672 yen incl. tax, three-tiered 5,400 yen incl. tax)
"Hinaseiro" (each one-tiered 1,944 yen incl. tax, two-tiered 3,672 yen incl. tax, three-tiered 5,400 yen incl. tax) is an assortment of small, adorable sweets inspired by "hina," which also means "small, adorable." The "Egao Manju" sweets are adorable sweets with a red dot in the center and filled with red bean paste; the "Hana Higashi Assortment," a red and white dried confectionery made with wasanbon sugar and shaped like camellia, peach, and cherry blossoms; the "Momo no Sato" sweets made with gyuhi and filled with white candy paste; the "Senju" sweets made with nerikiri and filled with white bean paste; and the "Hina Temari" sweets made with Domyoji and filled with white bean paste. The boxes are modeled after the "Hinaikogo" (tiered boxes used to deliver Hina sweets in 1776), which also forms the basis for the design of Toraya's carrier bags. They will be on sale from February 25th to March 3rd at stores selling fresh sweets (excluding the Gotemba store) and at some other stores. Please note that the contents may differ in the Kyoto area.

"Hinaori" (1 fold, 2,646 yen including tax) is a product that consists of Domyoji jelly, designed after the "Sakkon no Sakura" and "Ukon no Tachibana" trees that are displayed on the Hinadan stage during Hinamatsuri (Girls' Day), layered on top of mashed yokan, and presented in a gorgeous folding box. It will be on sale from February 15th to March 3rd at directly managed stores, and from February 25th to March 3rd at stores in the Kanto and Kinki regions (excluding some stores).
Additionally, to add color to the display stand, small yokan sweets called "Yoru no Ume" (Plum at Night) and "Omokage" are wrapped in bamboo skin and placed on a stand called "Hinadai" (3,068 yen each, tax included). These will be on sale from February 4th to March 3rd at directly managed stores in the Kanto and Chubu regions, and from February 15th to March 3rd at stores in the Kanto and Kinki regions (excluding some stores).

"Hinagoromo" (1 roll, 1,944 yen including tax) is a seasonal yokan (jelly bean paste) that depicts the beautiful and lustrous robes of Hina dolls in five colors: yellow, green, red, white, and purple, similar to the "twelve-layered robes" worn by aristocratic women in the Heian period, who enjoyed competing to see who could coordinate the most elegant colors. It will be on sale from February 4th to March 3rd.
In addition, "Sakuramochi" (411 yen including tax), with the scent of cherry blossom leaves that makes you feel the arrival of spring, will be on sale from February 25th to March 3rd at stores that sell fresh sweets and some other stores.
