Starting January 15th, "Rye and Walnut Hard Toast" will be joining the list of weekday-only breads at high-end bread specialty store Sakimoto.

Weekday-only breads are currently only sold on certain days of the week at the Osaka Hatsugou main store, and now the new "Rye and Walnut Hard Toast" will be sold at both the Namba Hatsugou main store and the Tokyo Denenchofu store as a Tuesday-only bread.
"Rye and Walnut Hard Toast" is the brand's first hard loaf bread, made with a dough blend of Canadian wheat flour, mineral-rich, flavorful wheat flour, and coarsely ground whole wheat rye, baked with large pieces of walnuts.
The crunchy texture of the fragrant walnuts and the unique flavor of rye that spreads in your mouth the more you chew it are recommended not only for eating as is after toasting, but also for sandwiches and open sandwiches. Only a 2-loaf size (1,203 yen) is available.
