Shaki Co., Ltd., operator of the L'écrin Group, has launched an online shopping site (https://lecringinza-shop.com/) featuring special menu items by Chef Kurita of Ginza L'écrin, to help customers who are refraining from dining out or traveling due to COVID-19 prevention measures and shortened restaurant hours. All menu items are delicious and can be enjoyed simply by heating, eliminating the need for special preparation. Course meals also come with chef-directed presentation videos, allowing customers to recreate the flavor and beauty of L'écrin at home. Course meals, hors d'oeuvres, and sweets will be delivered refrigerated, while single dishes will be delivered frozen. Refrigerated items are available via home delivery, takeout from the restaurant, or delivery by taxi to nearby customers. Single dishes will be delivered frozen. Ginza L'ecrin, founded in 1974, announced that Yuhei Kurita will serve as its eighth head chef in July 2020. Established in 1974, Ginza L'ecrin has consistently offered the finest French cuisine of the era in a restaurant adorned with gorgeous Art Nouveau and L'ecrin red. The restaurant's history and quality are attested to by the distinguished chefs who have served it. Furthermore, its carefully selected wine inventory of over 15,000 bottles has spawned many renowned sommeliers. Ginza L'ecrin has been in the traditional yet cutting-edge neighborhood of Ginza 4-Chome for over 40 years. A symbol of Ginza, it reopened in June 2017 after a two-year renovation. The refined main dining room, decorated in champagne gold, features meticulous attention to detail, including chandeliers, carpeting, and marble and sycamore wood walls, creating a sophisticated space that will transport you away from the hustle and bustle of Ginza. On the second basement floor, we have a waiting bar decorated in L'ecrin red, which evokes the history of the old restaurant. This grand maison has been loved by many fans for many years.

In July 2020, Yuhei Kurita became the eighth head chef. The new L'ecrin has started, taking on new challenges such as pairing courses with beautiful dishes.

The takeout menu "Course Meals" and "Hors d'oeuvres", which were launched last year, have been completely revamped. The sweets menu also includes "Cake o' Fruits" and "Assorted Baked Goods".

We have also added a total of seven new "single dishes" to our menu, available exclusively for frozen delivery. We will provide one serving of domestic beef cheek stewed in red wine, Ginza L'ecrin's homemade consommé soup, quiche Lorraine, and more. The expiration date is 60 days, so you can enjoy the flavors of L'ecrin whenever you like after arrival.
