With spring in full swing, Lounge South Court is offering "Chef Patissier's Special Japanese Sweets “Once in a Lifetime”," a one-plate dessert created around the theme of beautiful cherry blossoms. Enjoy five spring-themed sweets, including Sakura no Ri-Ole, a rice dessert inspired by sakura mochi; Uguisu Mochi, a sweet bean paste and chocolate treat that offers a perfect blend of Japanese and Western flavors; and Western-style Kuzumochi, a blackcurrant and vanilla mousse coated in kuzu. Additionally, a green tea set will be available, paired with Kakegawa tea grown using the traditional "Chagusaba" tea farming method of Shizuoka, a certified Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System. Kakegawa tea, characterized by its elegant aroma and mellow flavor, enhances each of the Japanese-style sweets created by Chef Pastry Chef Yukiko Kamanai. Born in Hikone, Shiga Prefecture in 1982. After training at restaurants such as Malebranche and Joël Robuchon in Japan, he moved to France in 2007. He continued his training at restaurants such as Marc Veyrat in Annecy, Hôtel Barrière Le Fouquet's in Paris, Louis XV (Hôtel de Paris) and Joël Robuchon (Hôtel Metropole Monte-Carlo) in Monaco before returning to Japan.

Measures to Prevent the Spread of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)


At Odakyu Hotel Century Southern Tower, protecting the health and safety of our guests and employees is our top priority, and we are taking evidence-based measures to prevent the spread of infection from a medical standpoint.
The following measures are being taken in public areas and restaurants to prevent contact and droplet infection.

[Public Areas]
- High-concentration alcohol disinfectant has been installed throughout the hotel and in all restrooms.
- We are regularly strengthening hygiene by cleaning hotel facilities with alcohol disinfectant.
- In consideration of the health and safety of our guests and staff, we have required our staff to wear surgical masks.
- We have limited the number of people in the elevators and the smoking area on the 21st floor.

[Restaurants and Lounges]
We are taking the following measures to reduce congestion in the restaurants and prevent contact and droplet infection.
- We ask that you wear a mask, disinfect your hands, and have your temperature taken with a contactless AI-enabled detection camera when visiting the restaurant.
*Guests with a fever of 37.5°C or higher or who are found to be unwell, such as with cold symptoms, may be asked to refrain from entering the restaurant.
*In the public areas of our hotel, we use a contactless AI body temperature detection camera (Face Four) to take temperatures. The facial images (personal information) taken by customers will be stored for a certain period of time within the camera in order to measure the temperature measurement position, but this will only be used for temperature measurement purposes at the hotel and will not be used for any other purposes (except as otherwise provided for in the Personal Information Protection Act).
・Reservation times for both meals and coffee have been staggered.
・We offer an American breakfast, with some breakfast options in buffet style.
・High-concentration disinfectant (67.1%) has been installed within the restaurant and at each service station.
・Seats in the restaurant have been spaced apart.
・Service and kitchen staff use hand sanitizer.
・Acrylic guards have been installed at the cashier counter.
・Cash trays are used when paying.
