Feel like you're traveling with sweets from around the world! Conrad Osaka's strawberry sweets buffet changes monthly

Atmos Dining at Conrad Osaka (Nakanoshima, Kita-ku, Osaka) is hosting "Travel 4 Strawberries," a strawberry sweets buffet that takes you around the world, offering strawberry sweets from four countries over the course of four months from January 12 to April 25, 2021. Starting with France in January, the current theme for February is Italy, followed by Korea in March and Bali in April. With travel restrictions currently in place, Executive Pastry Chef Jimmy Boulay is using generous amounts of strawberries to create sweets from four countries, hoping to give guests a taste of the world's sweets and give them a taste of travel.

All guests will be issued a Conrad Osaka "Sweets Passport." It will be stamped upon arrival. Among customers who collect four stamps, one couple will be entered into a drawing to win a three-night, four-day accommodation voucher for two at a Hilton or Conrad hotel in France, Italy, Korea, or Bali. Four pairs (eight people total) will receive a gift certificate. Stay dates are flexible.

Following on from previous entries for France and Italy, this time we'll be introducing new sweets from Korea in March and Bali in April.

Indonesia is one of the world's leading coconut producers. The island of Bali is known for its sweets that make generous use of coconut. Enjoy a variety of coconut-infused treats, including "Strawberry Dadar Gurung," a chewy coconut crepe filled with sliced coconut, brown sugar, and strawberry flavoring; and "Strawberry Kerupong," a delicious green rice cake with oozing palm sugar, topped with strawberries and sprinkled with coconut. Also available: "Pisang Goreng," a traditional Balinese dessert made with bananas dipped in a sesame batter, deep-fried, and topped with cheese, served with homemade strawberry sauce and Balinese 64% dark chocolate for dipping. Enjoy traditional and contemporary desserts with strawberry-infused recipes, including "Pai Susu," a Balinese version of egg tarts that have become increasingly popular in recent years, and the trendy "S Doja Parfait" (one per person), made with tapioca, strawberries, blueberries, coconut flakes, palm seeds, and more. Enjoy authentic Balinese savory dishes prepared by Executive Chef Ryan Dadufarza, who has trained in Bali.

All sweets are made with strawberries, and you can enjoy as many fresh strawberries as you like, so even strawberry lovers will be pleased. You can also enjoy a photogenic buffet table representing each country.

[Benefit 1] Customers who post a photo of themselves on their Instagram account with the hashtag "#Travel4Strawberries" will receive a free glass of sparkling wine.

[Benefit 2] A three-night, four-day stay (with breakfast) will be given to one pair of two people in each of France, Italy, South Korea, or Bali (a total of four pairs, eight people).
Campaign Period: Tuesday, January 12, 2021 to Sunday, April 25, 2021
Eligibility: Those who experience the sweets buffet four times between Tuesday, January 12, 2021 and Sunday, April 25, 2021, and collect four stamps in their sweets passport. A sweets passport will be distributed to all customers upon their first visit, and a passport will be issued every four visits thereafter. Applications will be accepted in-store when the fourth stamp is stamped. An EXPIRED stamp will be stamped on applied passports that have collected four stamps, and the same passport cannot be used for a second application. A new passport will be issued upon your fifth visit or later.
Prize details: A total of four couples will receive a three-night, four-day accommodation voucher for two to a Hilton or Conrad Hotel in France, Italy, South Korea, or Bali. The country cannot be chosen. The accommodation must be within 2022, but we can be flexible so please enquire. *Some blackout dates apply. *Subject to availability.

Born and raised in Le Mans, located in the west of France, Jimmy began his career as a chocolatier, studying under Jacques Bélanger, who holds the most prestigious title in France, M.O.F. (Meilleur Ouvrier de France). He then trained as a pastry chef under Cedric Grolet, renowned as the world's best chef patissier, at Fauchon in Paris and the five-star hotel Le Meurice in Paris. In October 2018, he was appointed Executive Pastry Chef of Conrad Osaka. He is in charge of all sweets within the hotel, including AERIA, a "floating patisserie in the sky" which opened in July 2018, as well as four restaurants and bars, weddings, banquets, etc.

Ryan Dadufalza began his career as a chef in 1999, gaining experience at various restaurants in his hometown of Guam and New York, and working as a sous chef at a five-star international hotel before being appointed Executive Chef of Conrad Osaka in October last year.
