Nestlé Japan Co., Ltd. will begin selling Starbucks-branded capsules, "Starbucks(R) Café Latte" and "Starbucks(R) Pike Place(R) Roast," developed for the authentic capsule-type cafe system, "Nescafé Dolce Gusto," from March 1st.

In April 2019, Nestlé launched Starbucks-branded capsules developed using Nescafé Dolce Gusto's proprietary coffee system technology. To date, we have developed a lineup featuring classic Starbucks menu items such as black coffee, caramel macchiato, and matcha latte, bringing the taste of our cafes to many homes.
The new "Starbucks(R) Café Latte," launching this spring, allows you to enjoy the taste of Starbucks Latte, a popular menu item at Starbucks stores, at home. A single capsule makes it easy to brew a full cup, making it convenient for busy mornings or between work breaks. Additionally, "Starbucks(R) Pike Place(R) Roast" is an iconic blend named after the birthplace of Starbucks. Nescafé Dolce Gusto's authentic high-pressure extraction produces a rich, fine-grained foam, just like the coffee you'd find in a cafe.

1. "Nescafé Dolce Gusto" dedicated capsules offer a wide variety of over 20 types of coffee, including authentic regular coffee, cafe menu items such as lattes, teas, and cocoa, and even authentic Uji matcha.
2. The regular coffee capsules are made from carefully selected beans sourced from around the world, blended and roasted, and sealed in a patented five-layer capsule that removes oxygen.
