
Isetan Shinjuku will be holding "Seven Days to Immerse Yourself in the Charm of Bread" from February 10th to 16th, 2021, at the Food Collection on the 1st basement floor of the Main Building. From authentic French boulangeries to unique breads made with local ingredients and trendy sliced bread, you're sure to find the bread you're looking for during these seven days packed with the charm of bread.

<Liberte Patisserie Boulangerie>Chocolat Stollen 3,780 yen (1 piece)
The company opened its flagship store in the 10th arrondissement of Paris in 2013 and arrived in Japan in 2018. They are committed to using high-quality French ingredients, such as imported French flour, butter, and salt, and they place great importance on having all of their bread and pastry products carefully made one by one by artisans. This Valentine's Stollen is an adult Valentine's Day treat made with eight kinds of dried fruits and nuts, including figs and raisins, slowly steeped in brandy, red and white wine, and other alcoholic beverages. The mixture is then baked in a dough containing Valrhona chocolate and homemade levain, and then coated with chocolate and cocoa. Limited quantities will be available in-store only at this event. There will also be demonstrations of the popular croissants and croissant linzer.

This bakery is overseen by Thierry Marx, a popular Parisian baker with five Michelin stars. This French chef, who professes "tradition and innovation," is trying his best to combine traditional French flavors with the unique flavors of Japan. He delivers delicious bread that fuses French and Japanese influences. Made with Hokkaido Harukirari wheat, Nasu Onyo eggs, and fermented butter, this bread is baked to a crispy exterior and moist interior. The contrast between the crispy crust and the moist brioche is irresistible, making this a specialty of Thierry Marx.

An authentic bakery with its main store in "Otani-cho", Utsunomiya City, based on the concept of "Think Local, Eat Local".
A unique blend of four types of wheat flour produced in Hokkaido. Homemade Levain liquid is used as the yeast, and the dough is refrigerated and fermented for a long time to create a dough that melts in your mouth. This bread is rolled up with plenty of homemade jam made from Tochiotome, a brand of strawberries from Tochigi Prefecture, and baked to allow you to enjoy the flavor of strawberries.

<Little Princess>Heavy Luxurious Apple Bread 3,024 yen (1.5 loaves)
Little Princess is a bakery in Aomori City, Aomori Prefecture. They deliver delicious and exciting bread straight from Aomori. Each loaf of bread is kneaded with a generous 5-6 Aomori apples, so you can see the apples no matter where you cut it. The bread base is made without water, using 100% Aomori apple juice, and also uses ingredients from Aomori Prefecture, such as Aomori Yukichikara wheat (a blend of three varieties), salt from the Tsugaru Strait, and fresh eggs delivered directly from Aomori poultry farms. The natural sweetness of the apples spreads throughout your mouth, making you wonder whether you're eating an apple or bread, and you're enveloped in a moment of bliss.

"Motomu's Curry Bread" was created in the "pursuit of the deliciousness of Japanese Black Beef" and with the desire to deliver a curry bread that "many people would like." Based on the beef tendon curry, a popular menu item at Tsukiji Yakiniku Motomu, a yakiniku restaurant in Tsukiji, known as the kitchen of Tokyo's food culture, this is a special curry bread that is luxuriously stuffed with carefully selected "A5 rank Japanese Black Beef" inside a light and crispy bun. Because it is fried and baked, excess oil is removed, resulting in a light texture. To cook at home, simply defrost in the microwave and bake in the oven or toaster for a delicious finish without using any oil. It has received such acclaim that it won the Gold Award in the Western Japan Fried Curry Bread category at the Curry Bread Grand Prix 2020.

Cafe Tamon> Tamon's Pancake Sandwich ¥540 each (1 piece / 3 varieties)
"Tamon" means to hear and keep in mind a lot of good information. The owner, actress Megumi, has a long-standing attachment to Kanazawa, and is involved in menu development and design in collaboration with creators she met through her work. The pancakes are made on a specially ordered iron plate, and after much trial and error, they retain their fluffy texture and deliciousness even when refrigerated or frozen. Each pancake is then hand-squeezed with cream and sandwiched together. There are three flavors: "Fresh Cream & Custard," "Domestic Azuki Beans and Matcha," and "Gorojima Kintoki."
