The Westin Miyako Kyoto will be serving two types of luxury parfaits from February 1, 2021. The two types available are a strawberry parfait made with Kyoto brand strawberries "Kyoto no Shizuku" produced by local Kyoto farm Shibuya Farm, and a chestnut and matcha parfait made with hotel-made castella, Kyoto matcha, and Tamba chestnuts. The parfaits are also served in sophisticated glassware from a high-end brand, creating a luxurious finish.

Two types of parfaits are available, each gorgeous and visually stunning, made with generous use of ingredients carefully selected by our pastry chefs. This strawberry parfait, made with Shibuya Farm's Kyoto brand strawberries, "Kyoto no Shizuku," is topped with plenty of fresh strawberries, and is also used in the compote and marinade, allowing you to enjoy the various flavors of strawberries. It also includes yogurt ice cream and strawberry ice cream, creating a refreshing taste.

The chestnut and matcha parfait, made with fluffy hotel-made castella cake, Kyoto-grown matcha, and Tamba chestnuts, is a truly Kyoto-esque Japanese parfait. The exquisite balance of sweet and bitter flavors, including roasted green tea jelly and wasanbon cream, is captivating.

Each parfait is decorated in a high-end brand glass, creating a sophisticated and luxurious atmosphere.
Enjoy a relaxing time in the open-air all-day dining restaurant "Rakuku," with panoramic views of Higashiyama.
