Now in its 21st year, Amour du Chocolat is Japan's number one chocolate event in terms of sales. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event will be held with limited entry to the main venue as a measure to prevent crowding, and online sales will be strengthened. The event will feature over 2,500 products from approximately 150 brands, including new releases and limited edition items.

Measures to be taken this year as the event is being held amid the COVID-19 pandemic
1. [Admission restrictions will be implemented at the main venue on the 10th floor] [Morning] Admission by specified date and time / [Afternoon] Admission by ticket issued in-store
In the morning, "Date and time specified admission tickets (free)" must be reserved on the Lawson Ticket website, and the number of people allowed in will be limited. There are three types of admission tickets: "Main Area Admission Ticket," "Audrey Exclusive Admission Ticket," and "Pâtissier S. Koyama Exclusive Admission Ticket." In the afternoon, "same-day admission tickets" will be issued at the Rose Patio on the 3rd and 9th floors, and admission will be limited throughout the day.
2. [Numbered ticket-distributed products will be purchased online in advance] Period: Friday, January 8th to Sunday, February 7th
The limited-quantity "numbered ticket-distributed products," which typically have long lines starting at 5:00 a.m., will now be purchased online in advance. The collection location will also be changed to the Rose Patio on the 3rd floor.
3. [Strengthened Online Sales] Period: Friday, January 15th to Wednesday, February 3rd
Approximately 200 items will be sold online, four times more than last time, so you can purchase them without visiting the store.

2001The first "Valentine Land (now Amour du Chocolat)" was held. It was the first department store in Japan to hold a Valentine's event in the event hall on the 10th floor.
2002Negotiated with a leasing company to secure a large number of refrigerated cases. This made it possible to invite popular brands.
2010Sales exceeded 600 million yen, ensuring the store's top sales for Valentine's events in Japan.
2012The company began publishing a "sales ranking" to inform customers. This led to competition between brands, and chefs began visiting the venue every day to improve their rankings.
2017Sales exceeded 2.2 billion yen.
2018The venue was expanded to the 9th floor.
2019 The venue expanded to the 7th and 8th floors.
