Kyoto Hotel Okura will be accepting pre-orders for Christmas cakes and hors d'oeuvres from December 1st to December 25th, 2020. The 2020 Christmas takeout items feature a lineup of six whole cakes, including three new creations. Hotel flavors such as Christmas hors d'oeuvres for 5-6 people and stollen will add color to your Christmas at home.

◆[New Product] White Noël / 3,888 yen (approx. 17cm)
A tree-shaped "Buche de Noël" arranged in the style of a shortcake. Strawberry slices and strawberry mousse are combined on a base of genoise, and wrapped in lightly sweet fresh cream.

◆[New Product] Noël Japonaise / 3,240 yen (approx. 17cm)
Made with almond powder and matcha, mango cream and white sesame ganache are sandwiched between green cakes soaked in matcha syrup. It has an adorable design in which Santa Claus peeks out from under a bar of white chocolate. Enjoy the harmony of Japanese ingredients and the flavor of mango.

Vanilla-scented, salty butter cream, chestnut cream, and lemon jam are sandwiched between the dough. Yellow and white cream made with mascarpone cheese are garnished on top, giving it a deep flavor.

The genoise (sponge cake) is made using flour produced in Hokkaido and fresh cream, giving it a light and fine texture. The fresh cream is blended with two types of cream to create a smooth texture that matches the sweet and sour taste of the strawberries, making it a popular item every year.

Caramelized banana and tonka bean mousse is enveloped in bitter chocolate mousse made with 70% couverture. You can enjoy the rich flavor of cocoa.

A sweet and sour mousse made with four kinds of berries - strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, and blackberry - and white chocolate, with a pistachio mousse hidden inside. The white yogurt sauce on top adds a refreshing flavor.

A traditional German sweet bread characterized by its pure white exterior. Rum-soaked raisins, mixed dried fruits and nuts are kneaded into the dough, giving it a moist interior and a crispy surface. It is a classic product with a distinctive flavor of spices such as cardamom, cinnamon and nutmeg.

We use domestic beef, which has a tender texture and sweetness, and Australian beef, which allows you to fully savor the savory flavor of its lean meat. The sirloin cuts are carefully and slowly grilled to lock in the umami of each cut.

A total of 7 types including avocado and shrimp quiche, Italian-style marinated sardines, duck with yuzu flavor, and seasonal fruit and prosciutto pinchos, all decorated in a Christmas style.
