Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu's Christmas cakes are available for pre-order in six varieties, including a kirsch-flavored cake for adults.

Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu will be offering a total of six hotel-made Christmas cakes, including four new varieties, for sale in the "Summer House" lounge.


"Forêt Noire" is a chocolate cake with a "Black Forest" theme. Lots of cherries are placed inside a vanilla mousse sandwiched between chocolate almond genoise. This cake for adults is made with layers of chocolate mousse, adorned with a chocolate squirrel and seasoned with kirsch (cherry liqueur).

"Buche de Sapin" is a honey-flavored chocolate mousse cake, named after the fir tree. It is accented with hazelnut nougatine and features a harmonious blend of honey cream made with Sapin liqueur (a fir tree liqueur) and lemon jam.

Other new cakes include "Shushu," a cheesecake inspired by Santa Claus, and "Tarte Fruits Noël Style," a colorful Christmas wreath made with an abundance of fruit. There are six varieties in total, including the hotel's signature shortcake, "Gâteau de Fraise Premier."
