Conrad Osaka's Autumn Sweets Buffet features a safari and leopard print design on the buffet table

Atmos Dining at Conrad Osaka will be hosting the "Leopard Safari" Autumn Sweets Buffet from October 3 to November 30, 2020. This sweets buffet combines the popular 2020 fashion trends of leopard print and safari, and uses autumn ingredients. Additionally, until October 31, adorable Halloween sweets featuring ghosts and eyes will be available, allowing you to enjoy the seasonal atmosphere.


Following on from last year's popular "SPOOK-TACULAR Leopard!" Halloween sweets buffet, we've further evolved this year's sweets buffet, incorporating the popular 2020 fashion trends of safari and leopard print. Under the supervision of young Kansai-based fashion artist Teruaki Takahashi, this year's buffet will feature a stylish design incorporating leopard prints amidst lush greenery. Dressed in a safari-inspired outfit featuring animal motifs and muted colors like khaki and beige, guests will feel even more at one with the theme. Additionally, guests who make reservations through the official website or by phone and present a leopard print or other animal-themed fashion item will receive a complimentary glass of champagne. Sweet treats include the "Leopard Print Grape Shortcake" and "Black Sesame Safari Cupcake," both decorated with leopard and safari-patterned chocolates, as well as the delightful "Moss Tart Vanilla Mousse and Pear Jelly," a delightful treat reminiscent of lush jungle moss, made with crispy tart, moist vanilla mousse, and pear jelly. Additionally, until October 31st, we will be offering Halloween-themed sweets such as the "Hojicha Monster Basket," "Citrus and Cinnamon Ghost Tart," "Eyeball Chocolate Roll Cake," and "Bat Long Mont Blanc." Enjoy a seasonal sweets buffet prepared by pastry chef Jimmy Boulay, featuring an abundance of autumn fruits such as pears, apples, figs, and grapes.


Special Offer: Guests who make reservations through our official website or by phone will receive a complimentary glass of champagne upon presenting any animal fashion item, such as a leopard print.

As part of our hygiene management measures, we have installed disinfectant at all tables in our restaurants and splash guards on the buffet tables. We also ask that everyone wear a mask when eating at the buffet.

Jimmy Boulay
Executive Pastry Chef, Conrad Osaka
Born and raised in Le Mans, located in the west of France, Jimmy began his career as a chocolatier, apprenticing under Jacques Bélanger, who holds the most prestigious title in France, M.O.F. (Meilleur Ouvrier de France). He then trained as a pastry chef under Cedric Grolet, renowned as the world's best chef patissier, at Fauchon in Paris and the five-star hotel Le Meurice. In October 2018, he was appointed Executive Pastry Chef of Conrad Osaka. It is responsible for all sweets within the hotel, including AERIA, a "floating patisserie in the sky" that opened in July 2018, as well as four restaurants and bars, weddings, banquets, etc.
