
To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the opening of Toraya Paris, Isetan Shinjuku will be showcasing a variety of Toraya Group sweets that you wouldn't normally see, including Paris-themed Japanese sweets, sweets and limited edition products in collaboration with <Pierre Hermé Paris> a leader in the global Western confectionery industry, as well as limited edition products and takeout menus from Toraya Cafe and Japanese sweets made with fresh chestnuts.
Toraya Paris 40th Anniversary Products
40th anniversary products are on display at Cha no Michi, on the first basement floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku. It will also be on sale at the "Toraya Paris Store 40th Anniversary Event" from September 30th to October 6th.
<Toraya> Small Yokan "Ispahan" (1 piece) 368 yen, (5 pieces) 1,998 yen

A small yokan that makes the most of the flavor of "Ispahan." You'll first get a faint scent of sweet and sour raspberry, and as you continue to eat it, the flavor of vibrant lychee will spread throughout your mouth, and finally, the elegant scent of rose will rise, and you will be able to taste the natural sweetness of yokan.

<Toraya> Cacao Coffee Yokan "Afternoon Cafe" (1 piece) 2,160 yen

This yokan has a vertical striped pattern of black, white, and brown, and is made from a combination of neri yokan with cacao, white neri yokan, and coffee. Cafes are a common sight on the streets of Paris. The combination of coffee and cacao evokes the image of a moment spent at a cafe in the afternoon.

New Chestnut Festival
Toraya's chestnut sweets are made only in the fall, using only domestically grown new chestnuts harvested that year. This time we will introduce the chestnut sweets of the Toraya Group.
<minä perhonen><Toraya> Furoshiki "Kurikasane" (1 piece) 1,980 yen each

We will be selling furoshiki designed by <minä perhonen>, which was sold in limited quantities last fall and proved popular. The furoshiki features a geometric pattern combined with the wide-opening shape of chestnuts.
<Toraya> Chestnut Cassis Yokan "Marronnier Avenue" (1 piece) 1,296 yen

This is a sweet made with blackcurrant and chestnut, a combination commonly seen in France. Chestnut yokan is layered on top of blackcurrant yokan, representing the tree-lined streets of Paris covered with yellow horse chestnut leaves.

"A life with bean paste" Toraya Cafe is a brand created by <Toraya>, born from the desire to "make it easier for people to enjoy bean paste." We deliver the deliciousness of "an" that you'll want to enjoy every day. This time, we'll introduce Toraya Cafe's standard products as well as collaboration products with <Pierre Hermé Paris>. This is an an paste with a gorgeous flavor inspired by the harmony of “Ispahan”. We combine white bean paste made from rare white azuki beans with the elegant scent of rose, the fruity flavor of lychee, and the tartness of raspberry.

A three-layer drink in which sweet and sour bean paste [Ispahan] with a rose scent blends with a mellow milkshake.
