Acai, coconut, blueberries...enjoy the summer with an afternoon tea filled with superfoods!

Jun 13, 2017

The French Kitchen, an all-day dining restaurant located on the second floor of the Grand Hyatt Tokyo in Roppongi, Tokyo, will be offering a "Summer Superfood Afternoon Tea" (¥3,500, tax and service charge not included) from July 1 to September 30. The French Kitchen offers stylish interpretations of traditional bistro fare. This time, the menu features superfoods and other ingredients known for their health and beauty benefits, including finger dishes like quinoa salmon tartare and spinach and walnut quiche, while the sweets menu includes blueberry and acai tartlets and scones with chia seed jam. Two types of drinks are also available: chilled Mamaki tea, a traditional Hawaiian drink for health benefits, and hot Okinawan black tea blended with ginger. This afternoon tea is gentle on the body after exposure to the summer's UV rays and air conditioning. This menu can be ordered by one person and is served from 2:30 pm (from 3 pm on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays), with last orders taken at 4 pm.
