Ryohin Keikaku Co., Ltd., which plans and develops MUJI products, will be releasing seven new bread items and five new snack items at MUJI stores nationwide and online from September 9th, in addition to the sweets with less than 10g of carbohydrates that were released last fall.

■Sugar content reduced to less than 10g
Currently, approximately one-quarter of the Japanese population is said to be obese, and excessive carbohydrate intake is thought to be one of the causes.
(※) The average daily carbohydrate intake is around 300g.
That's why, since last fall, MUJI has been selling "sweets with less than 10g of carbohydrates" for people who want to lead a balanced diet and don't want to give up sweets. *From the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's National Health and Nutrition Survey ■MUJI's product concept MUJI has created its "Sweets and Bread Series with 10g or Less Carbohydrates" based on four points. 1. Truly delicious: Products that are truly delicious even with less than 10g of carbohydrates 2. Wide range of products: Extensive product lineup with semi-fresh sweets, baked goods, chocolates, and now snacks and bread added 3. Clarified carbohydrate standards: All items are standardized to less than 10g of carbohydrates ●Bread with less than 10g of carbohydrates We will be releasing a new series of bread that can be incorporated into your everyday meals. By reducing the amount of wheat flour and using soy flour instead, we have kept the carbohydrate content to less than 10g. The lineup is rich, from simple meal breads that go well with dishes to sweet breads such as cinnamon rolls.
Another feature is that by using panettone yeast as the leavening agent, it can be stored for a long time (shelf life of 47 days).

●Snack Series: Sweets with Less than 10g of Carbohydrates
In addition to the sweet sweets with less than 10g of carbohydrates released last fall, we are releasing five snack items.
We have reduced the amount of wheat flour and used soy pulp, wheat bran, wheat protein, etc. to keep the carbohydrate content below 10g.
Also recommended as a snack to go with alcohol.
