Saboe is creating and preserving the modern style of tea drinking in order to contribute to the development of tea. They offer approximately 50 types of tea leaves carefully selected from all over Japan, as well as original tea utensils. They also offer seasonal tea blends, such as blends made with seasonal fruits and herbs.
HIGASHIYA GINZA and HIGASHIYA man Marunouchi Sabo offer blends made with seasonal fruits and herbs based on Chaho-kai tea leaves. The limited-time "Seasonal Blend Tea (Hakuro/Autumnal Equinox)" (1,800 yen each, tax included) comes in three flavors: chrysanthemum (gyokuro/chrysanthemum), pear (Awa bancha/pear), and Kyoho grape (sencha/kyoho grape), and will be available until October 7th.

Entitled "A Gathering to Enjoy Various Bancha Teas," the event will include a definition of bancha tea, an introduction to bancha teas from around the country, and tastings of several types of bancha tea, such as Mimasaka bancha tea from Okayama Prefecture and Awa bancha tea from Tokushima Prefecture. The price is 8,000 yen, including tax and service charges, and includes a meal and Japanese sweets. The event is limited to 20 people, and reservations can be made by calling HIGASHIYA GINZA at 03-3538-3240.
