The Westin Tokyo, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary since opening, is introducing 11 types of Christmas cakes that express a "winter forest" with a variety of flavors and expressions. Reservations will be accepted from November 1st to December 13th.

The "MA.RU.TA 2019 Chocolate Cake" (¥42,000), with its striking image of stacked logs, is a special item available in limited quantities of just five. Each cake is made of 15 brownies, five of which are wrapped in three light creams—pistachio, chocolate, and praline—and coated in chocolate to resemble a log. Beneath the log is a lightly sweet Sachertorte cake made with 100% cocoa bitter chocolate and sandwiched with apricot jam, and the outside is decorated with chocolate in the shape of a wooden box, making it a luxurious cake that allows you to enjoy a variety of flavors in one cake.
