Princi®, an Italian bakery operated by Starbucks, will be opening for the first time at the "Italian Exhibition [PART.1]" event being held at the Isetan Shinjuku store. The event will run from September 8th to September 13th (September 8th is a special invitation day for Mitsukoshi Isetan members. The general public will be able to attend from September 9th).

In addition to Princi®'s popular standard products such as Cornetti and Pane in Casetta, the venue will also be selling the new autumn flavor of the popular sweet maritozzo, "Maritozzo Marone."

Princi®'s Popular Maritozzo
Get a sneak peek at the new fall flavor

A new fall flavor has been released, using "marrone (chestnut)," a beloved autumn delicacy in Italy.
"Maritozzo Marrone" (¥454 including tax) *Takeout price for this event

Maritozzo is a classic Roman dessert, made with brioche dough and a generous amount of cream. Since its launch last year, it has become a huge hit, selling approximately 5,000 pieces per week. At this event, the Italian Exhibition, the new fall flavor of this maritozzo, "Maritozzo Marrone," will be available for pre-sale.

"Maritozzo Marrone" is a perfect dish for this time of year, featuring a light, fresh cream sandwich made with chestnut cream, sandwiched between a brioche made using Princi®'s special recipe. The cream is enveloped in a chestnut sauce that gently spreads the flavor of chestnuts with a hint of rum. The chestnut flavor pairs perfectly with the airy, melt-in-your-mouth brioche, creating a luxurious taste that lingers in your mouth.

Other popular maritozzos from Princi® will also be available at the Italian Exhibition, including the classic flavors "Maritozzo Nocciola" and "Maritozzo Lampone & Fragola," as well as the summer favorite "Maritozzo Limone & Mango."

Don't miss the Italian Christmas tradition, "Holiday Panettone"!

Made based on a traditional recipe inherited from Princi® in Milan.
"Holiday Panettone" (¥5,832 including tax) *Takeout price for this event

"Holiday Panettone," which is available every year during the holiday season at Princi®, will be making an appearance at the Italy exhibition.

"Holiday Panettone" is made with carefully cultivated, homemade, natural yeast, "Panettone Starter," which is slowly fermented before being baked, resulting in a unique, melt-in-your-mouth texture. The orange peel kneaded into the dough and the fruity sweetness of the sultana raisins add an accent. This product also comes in Princi's classic bright red gift box. You can get into the holiday spirit just from the packaging.

This "Holiday Panettone" will also be available for purchase on the Italian Exhibition's online website. Online sales details are as follows:

Princi®'s signature breads, such as "Cornetti" and "Pane in Casetta," will also be on display.

The Italian exhibit will feature approximately 30 types of Italian bread, pastries, and desserts from the Princi® menu. Be sure to check them out along with the maritozzo and panettone.

"Cornetti" (292 yen including tax) *Takeout price for this event
In addition to "cornetti," a staple Italian breakfast, they also sell the same type of bread that is available daily at the original Princi® in Milan. "Pane in Casetta," which is slightly smaller than Japanese sliced bread (this is the standard size of sliced bread in Italy), is characterized by its chewy texture and moist feel.

"Pane in Casetta" (605 yen including tax) *Takeout price for this event
In addition, there will be five types of sandwiches made with "direct-baked focaccia" and "direct-baked focaccia," which are only available at Princi Daikanyama T-SITE. Enjoy the fragrant flavor of the "direct-baked focaccia" dough and the chewy texture and crispness unique to coarsely ground durum wheat.

"Baked Focaccia" (¥411 including tax) *Takeout price for this event
If you haven't tried Princi® bread yet, this is your chance to give it a try.
