Mulberry has released a collaborative collection with Alexa Chung, "Mulberry x Alexa Chung."


To commemorate the brand's 50th anniversary, Mulberry has been announcing a series of special collaborations. Their next project is with Alexa Chung, who was a key figure in the creation of Mulberry's iconic bags and has a longstanding relationship with the brand. The "Mulberry x Alexa Chung" collection is the latest addition to Mulberry's limited-edition capsule collection series, the "Mulberry Edition."

"Big Guy"
The two main styles in this collection are the "Big Guy" shoulder bag and the "Little Guy" compact clutch bag. Both bags are designed to be highly practical and suitable for any occasion, with a simple design reminiscent of 1970s style icons such as Charlotte Rampling and Lauren Hutton, who had a naturally smart style.

This is the "Little Guy." Taking inspiration from the "Elkington" briefcase, which was the basis for the original "Alexa," and vintage satchel bags, the "Big Guy" and "Little Guy" are sleek, boxy bags with chain straps.
Both the "Big Guy" and "Little Guy" models are based on masculine formal bags, but exude a vintage-like, romantic mood and are finished in bags that reflect Alexa Chung's unique style, packed with a deep commitment to British design.


The color variations include classic earth tones (black, dark chocolate, tan) as well as vibrant, bright tones (apple green, denim blue). Materials include shiny crocodile-embossed patent leather, smooth velvet, and suede.

In order to promote Mulberry's ongoing efforts to create environmentally friendly and sustainable products, this collection uses leather sourced from tanneries certified by international environmental standards organizations, and the bags are made at Mulberry's own carbon-neutral factory in Somerset, UK, to create bags that can be used for generations to come.

In addition, to coincide with this collaboration, an Alexa bag in the same color palette will also be released. Be sure to check this out in stores.


In addition, to celebrate the launch of "Mulberry x Alexa Chung," a pop-up will be held at Isetan Shinjuku Main Store from July 14th.
