The legendary French confectionery maison returns! "Lenotre" opens tomorrow at Ginza Mitsukoshi

Event Date:2019.03.27
Mar 26, 2019
The legendary maison Lenôtre, which created the concept of modern French confectionery, will reopen its first store on the second basement floor of Ginza Mitsukoshi on March 27th.

Founded in Paris in 1957 by Gaston Lenôtre, known as the father of French confectionery, Lenôtre has gained popularity in Japan in recent years, selling its products at the world's largest chocolate festival, Salon du Chocolat Tokyo, and Valentine's Day events.

The newly opened first store will offer fresh and baked sweets, chocolates, and more, all faithfully recreated from authentic recipes. The exceptionally talented chefs use only carefully selected ingredients to create products that bring out the natural flavor of the ingredients, resulting in a refined taste. Additionally, strong flour is used in the fresh and baked sweets, which gives them a firm texture.

From the wide variety of items in the lineup, we've picked out some particularly recommended items to introduce today.

A Must-See for Chocolate Lovers: "Tour Eiffel Volute"
