Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi's Famous Sweets Exhibition features a huge collection of cute, limited-edition Japanese sweets themed around love!

Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store will be holding the 73rd National Famous Confectionery Exhibition from February 27th to March 4th in the event hall on the 7th floor of the main building. This will feature a collection of limited-edition Japanese sweets, each with its own charming story and expressing romantic feelings.

"Japanese Tissus Assortment" (1 box from 2,808 yen including tax)
This year's theme for the 73rd exhibition is "Let's meet when the peach blossoms bloom," and it will feature a variety of beautifully designed Japanese sweets that express romantic feelings. Approximately 30 brands (exhibitors) of Japanese sweets will be gathered together, including gorgeous Japanese sweets based on Japanese ingredients and flavors reminiscent of Parisian patisseries, traditional Japanese sweets, and limited edition items that can only be purchased at Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store.

Products exclusive to Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store include "Love Message" (486 yen including tax) from Kyogasho Tsuruya Yoshinobu, a flavorful peach paste made with peach puree and white bean paste wrapped in soft uiro pastry; "Kokoro Tokimeki" (432 yen including tax) from Ryoguchiya Korekiyo, a light blue and white dough cake wrapped around white azuki bean paste and decorated with five colors of renjimo and gold leaf; "Heart Gift" (1,201 yen including tax) from Nagomi no Yoneya, a passionate heart-shaped sweet covered in freeze-dried strawberries; and "Yellow Narcissus" (3 pieces for 810 yen including tax) from Maruhoro Honpo Kitajima, a sweet dried confectionery made by Unpei, which expresses sad feelings of love, based on the flower language of yellow narcissus, "I want you to love me again" and "Come back to me".

Also available are "Otome no Koigokoro" (486 yen including tax), made with sweet and sour strawberry paste and decorated with a veil-like gold ball, "Dorayaki no Encounter" (346 yen each including tax), filled with rich chestnut paste, from Obusedo, "Yakimochiyakanai Mochi" (216 yen including tax), soft habutae mochi with a subtle strawberry scent, from Fukagawaya Mutsu Daijo, and "Hanatsukushi" (216 yen including tax), a fresh yatsuhashi with a lovely red and white peach design, from Shogoin Yatsuhashi Sohonten. The lineup includes "Peach" (6 pieces for 648 yen including tax), and "Japanese Tissery Assortment" (1 box from 2,808 yen including tax), a set from Kobe Fugetsudo that allows you to choose your favorite cake, filled with elegant Japanese sweets based on traditional Japanese ingredients and flavors, with a touch of traditional Japanese essence added by pastry chefs.

In addition, there will be a special counter from Maruyama Coffee where you can enjoy a new harmony of Japanese sweets and coffee, and a seminar titled "The World of the Aroma of Coffee and Japanese Sweets" will be held by Maruyama Coffee's president, Maruyama, from 2:00 to 3:00 pm on March 3rd.
