Ennari Wagashi Market, "Japan's largest Japanese sweets festival," will be held on December 8th and 9th at LUMINE 0 on the 5th floor of NEWoMan Shinjuku, where 28 high-quality and rare Japanese sweets brands from all over the country will be gathered.

Ennari, a Japanese sweets select shop directly managed by Lumine located inside NEWoMan Shinjuku Station, has been introducing a number of carefully selected Japanese sweets brands from all over the country since it opened. At this event, Ennari Market will be held, where you can purchase limited edition products from the 28 participating brands. This event will introduce the world of Japanese sweets, focusing on the four essential steps in the production of wagashi, a familiar part of everyday life: kneading, cooking, baking, and shaping. The kneading section will feature Ishikawa Prefecture's Chaka Kobo Taro, which continues to offer never-before-seen flavors by incorporating Western ingredients essential to modern life, such as chocolate and nuts, into wagashi. The cooking section will feature Nara Prefecture's Kaki Senmon Ishi, Japan's only persimmon specialty shop, which produces and sells a variety of persimmon snacks and desserts under the theme of "making persimmons a wonderful fruit." The baking section will feature Tanakaya Senbei Sohonke, a long-established Tokyo shop that actively tries new things, such as "Caramel Senbei Matsuho" and "Mint Senbei." The shaping section will feature Kyoto Prefecture's UCHU wagashi, which combines the goodness of traditional wasanbon sugar with a variety of ingredients to create modern, innovative rakugan, each handcrafted.
