
PIERRE HERMÉ PARIS, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, has released its 2018 summer collection, "Summer in Heaven."
"Glace & Sorbet," which expresses "a world of taste, sensibility, and joy" in frozen desserts, is a collection of ice cream and sorbet with original flavors. The six flavors feature luxuriously selected ingredients, including "Glace Vanille" (648 yen including tax) with mellow vanilla ice cream, "Glace Caramel" (648 yen including tax) with fleur de sel caramel ice cream, "Sorbet Ispahan" (756 yen including tax) combining rose-flavored lychee sorbet and raspberry sorbet, and "Glace Rhum Raisin" (648 yen including tax) with rum-flavored ice cream and rum-soaked raisins. "Miss Gura Gura" is an original dessert from Pierre Hermé Paris, with ice cream and sorbet sandwiched between macaron dough. There are five visually appealing flavors, including "Satine" (756 yen including tax) with passion fruit sorbet, cream cheese ice cream, and orange marmalade, "Fraise Pistache" (756 yen including tax) with pistachio ice cream and strawberry sorbet, and "Mahogany" (756 yen including tax) with caramel ice cream, mango, and lychee sorbet. The crispy texture and fluffy texture combine to enhance the delicious flavor of the macarons.
Summer-only flavors are also available for the classic macarons and gateaux. Macarons include "Satine" (302 yen, tax included), made with cream cheese cream and orange and passion fruit compote, and "Citron Pâté Sable" (302 yen, tax included), made with lemon-flavored cream and sable. Long-lasting baked goods such as the orange-flavored "Sable Orange" (1,620 yen, tax included) and the lemon-flavored "Sable Infiniment Citron" (1,620 yen, tax included) offer a refreshing summer flavor, making them perfect for mid-year gifts.
In addition, the soft serve ice cream from Pierre Hermé Paris Aoyama Boutique, which was well-received last summer, is making a comeback. Flavors for 2018 include "Ispahan" (864 yen including tax) with rose, raspberry, and lychee, "Satine" (864 yen including tax) with passion fruit, orange, and cream cheese, and the new "Exotic" (864 yen including tax) with mango, coconut, and lime. The sweet taste and exquisite texture of the cone carefully baked by the pastry chef at the Aoyama boutique, soft serve ice cream with a gentle milk aroma, and topped with fresh fruit and macaroons are popular. The summer collection, "Summer in Heaven," is available for a limited time until August 31st at Pierre Hermé Paris directly managed boutiques and online boutiques.
