Rihga Royal Hotel Osaka to sell "Memorable 1970 Pudding" created in collaboration with Pudding Queen

All Day Dining Limone at the Rihga Royal Hotel (Nakanoshima, Kita-ku, Osaka) will be selling "Memorable 1970 Pudding," a collaboration between Chef Tetsuya Narita and food blogger Yuki Isogai, who has known over 10,000 puddings and is known as the "Queen of Pudding," from September 23rd to November 30th.

1970 was the year the Japan World Exposition (Osaka Expo) was held. Yuki Isogai became fascinated with her mother's homemade pudding as a child. Due to illness, her mother lost her sense of taste, becoming unable to savor her beloved dishes. During a TV program, Yuki Isogai and her mother recreated a "homemade pudding," miraculously restoring her mother's sense of taste. This time, Chef Narita, born in 1970, has recreated the memorable flavor that first captivated Yuki Isogai, the "Queen of Pudding," with a collaboration menu called "Memories of 1970 Pudding." The pudding is perfectly baked, with a firm exterior and a smooth interior, allowing for a different texture to be enjoyed. Furthermore, Chef Narita has created an original autumn dessert featuring this pudding: "Pudding and Chestnut Tiramisu with Rum-Flavored Marron Etouffee." This is the memorable taste that first captivated Yuki Isogai, the "Queen of Pudding." We've uncovered the recipe from back then to recreate her mother's homemade pudding. To allow for a different texture, the pudding is perfectly baked, with a firm crust and a smooth center. Enjoy with the vanilla ice cream served separately.

A collaboration menu created by Chef Narita, featuring rum-flavored tiramisu accompanied by a "memorable 1970 pudding." This traditional pudding is topped with chestnut ice cream accented with finely crushed chestnuts and chestnut étouffée generously massaged with rum syrup, creating a sophisticated dessert. An optional rum drink is also available.

A native of Hyogo Prefecture, she graduated from Doshisha University Graduate School. She has tried over 10,000 different puddings and is a gourmet blogger known as the "Queen of Pudding." Her blog, "Yuki's Sweets Diary," which provides information on sweets, has been visited by over 1,503,000 people. She has a collection of information on over 30,000 sweets shops. She has appeared in numerous media outlets, including morning news programs. He also collaborates with confectionery shops and produces hotel events. He has been a regular at the Rihga Royal Hotel since he was a child, and has known the hotel's flavors since the days of Corbeille, the predecessor to All Day Dining Limone. He felt an affinity between puddings that can be enjoyed by both children and adults and the Rihga Royal Hotel, which was founded 87 years ago, leading to this collaboration.




Born in Osaka Prefecture in 1970. Joined Royal Hotel Co., Ltd. in 1990. After being appointed chef of Café Corbeille at the Rihga Royal Hotel Tokyo, he continued his overseas training in 2012, honing his skills at Lameloise and Atelier Edmond in France and Piazza Duomo in Italy. After working as chef at Italian Restaurant Bella Costa in 2013, he was appointed chef at All Day Dining Limone in 2020.
