Conrad Tokyo (Minato-ku, Tokyo) has begun accepting reservations for Christmas cakes and other baked goods from September 6, 2022.
This year, a luxurious lineup of high-quality Christmas sweets will be available again, lovingly crafted by the pastry team led by award-winning pastry chef Okazaki Masaki, who has won international confectionery competitions. Four types of Christmas cakes will be available, including the hugely popular berry-filled shortcake every year, as well as the second edition of the Christmas cake for dogs that was first introduced last year. Other items on offer include the classic stollen, available in two varieties: one with a traditional German taste and one with dried fruits and superfoods kneaded into the dough for a rich citrus aroma; panettone, a Christmas bread confection originating from Italy, available in two varieties: traditional and coffee caramel; and Christmas pound cake. The adorable Christmas icing cookies, which appear with a different design each year, are individually handmade by the pastry team. A classic Conrad Tokyo shortcake overflowing with berries. Garnished with plenty of strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and more, the finely baked, moist sponge cake is sandwiched between layers of elegantly sweet whipped cream and strawberries. The gift box-like sides are made of white chocolate. Available in three sizes, it can be enjoyed on a variety of occasions.

Velvety / Diameter 12cm 6,300 yen
This cake has a hazelnut base, with a griotte cherry (French cherry) jelly and a cream made with three types of black tea in the center, and is covered in caramel and mule (blackberry) mousse. The combination of each ingredient makes for an exquisite cake.

Vegan Mont Blanc / Diameter 15cm 6,000 yen
A vegan Mont Blanc Christmas cake made without any animal ingredients such as eggs or dairy products. Maple sugar and beet sugar are used instead of white sugar. The almond and date tart is made using organic flour and layered with vegan milk chocolate Chantilly cream, and then dressed up with ruffles of chestnut cream made from French chestnut puree and soy milk cream. The cream is filled with diced chestnut concassee simmered in blackcurrant jam and maple sugar. A gorgeous cake decorated with chestnuts and vegan chocolate on top.

Paws Christmas 2022 Dog Cake / 12cm diameter 4,000 yen
This is the second edition of last year's hugely popular Christmas cake for dogs. We are offering a Christmas version of the popular dog banana cake available on the room service menu for dog-friendly accommodation plans. It is coated with a cream made from soy milk and maple sugar and decorated with fruits and vegetables, as well as the dog cookies, which are popular as an amenity with accommodation plans.

Christmas Pound Cake / 22cm x 4.5cm 3,500 yen
Dried fruit soaked in red wine seasoned with spices such as cinnamon is kneaded into a bitter chocolate dough and baked. Coated in wine-red chocolate and topped with dried fruit and nuts. Enjoy the rich taste of the densely packed dried fruit and chocolate.

Stollen: Two types: Traditional (above) and Golden / 23cm x 10cm 3,800 yen each "Stollen" is an authentic product characterized by the aroma of carefully soaked dried fruit and authentic German marzipan. You can enjoy the rich aroma of Echire butter. This year's first "Golden Stollen" is made by soaking dried fruits, the superfood golden berry, and mandarin oranges in orange-flavored cognac and kneading it into the dough, resulting in a rich citrus aroma.

A traditional Italian Christmas bread. This year we have two types available: Traditional and Coffee Caramel. The Traditional is a baked treat made with a mixture of several types of dried fruit, resulting in a unique taste and texture. The Coffee Caramel is baked with caramel-flavored chocolate and coffee kneaded into the dough, then coated in chocolate.

Christmas Icing Cookies / Set of 4 2,300 yen
These sophisticated and adorable icing cookies were designed by a female member of our pastry team. Available in two flavors: cinnamon and chocolate.
