
On September 30th and October 1st, the Institut Français du Japon in Iidabashi, Tokyo, will be holding a "Gastronomic Festival" to introduce French lifestyles through gastronomy and art.
The 9th edition of the festival will have the theme of "French Home Cooking," and a market will be set up on the outdoor terrace where you can purchase French ingredients. In addition, workshops (fee required/reservations required) on French home cooking, wine, cheese, and more will introduce ways to add a French touch to your everyday meals. There will also be a program that can be enjoyed by children and adults alike, including a live performance by French artist Elephant and a cooking show by a chef.
The exhibitors will include Nichifutsu Boeki, which sells imported French prepared foods, Cocotte Cuisine, which sells French home cooking, French pastry shop U.S.A.Ve, Bio Project, which sells organic products, Le Bretagne, which sells galettes and cider, L'Ecluse, which sells cheese and charcuterie, Vranken Pommery Japan, which sells wine, G.H.Mumm, which sells champagne, Pernod Ricard, liqueur, Brussels, which sells Belgian beer, and Bridor, which sells bread.
