"Fashion World Tokyo 2017 [Autumn]," Japan's largest fashion exhibition, organized by Reed Exhibitions Japan, will be held from October 11th to 13th at the East Hall of Tokyo Big Sight. Held twice a year, in spring and autumn, this comprehensive exhibition brings together a wide variety of products from around the world, including apparel, bags, shoes, accessories, men's fashion, textiles, and OEM products, and boasts over 20,000 visitors each year. This year's exhibition will feature 1,020 leading companies from 38 countries, including France, Italy, Spain, the UK, and the US, and is expected to attract nearly 30,000 visitors. Also new this year are the "Baby & Kids Collection," which brings together companies selling baby and children's fashion products, and the "Beach Collection," which brings together companies selling swimwear, beachwear, sandals, bags, hats, sunglasses, and accessories.

Another notable event is the "Special Lecture for Revitalizing the Industry and Supporting Young People," a free seminar that will be held every day during the event and has always garnered a great response from many people involved in the fashion industry, including managers, MDs, and buyers. The lecturers will be a diverse group of individuals active at the forefront of the industry, including Minamimagoshi Kazuyoshi of Beams Co., Ltd., Nakajima Toshiko, editor-in-chief of GINZA magazine, Ochiai Hiromichi, designer of Facetasm, and Ogawa Norihiro of Descente Japan Co., Ltd.
