The second installment of the "2017 Midsummer Parfait Fair" is being held at Shiseido Parlour Ginza Main Store Salon de Café until August 31st. Enjoy four types of fruit parfaits in vibrant summer colors like red and orange.
The "Okinawa Mango Parfait" (2,580 yen including tax), made with generous amounts of Okinawan mango, combines a tropical summery homemade mango sorbet with exotic sauce, milk ice cream, and cranberry sauce. Enjoy different textures by cutting the mangoes in different ways. Depending on the season, apple mango or Keitt mango is used, whichever is most flavorful at the time.
The "Wakayama Kinokawa Fig Parfait" (2,160 yen including tax), featuring seasonal figs in a variety of forms, including fresh, red wine compote, and rosé wine compote, is a luxurious parfait that lets you experience the true flavor of the figs. The passionate presentation of fig sorbet, raspberries, and red currants will whet your appetite.
For peach lovers, we recommend the "Domestic Golden and White Peach Oriental Parfait" (1,890 yen including tax), which combines juicy domestic golden and white peach compote with matcha ice cream. The peaches are selected from the most seasonal areas, and the strawberry sauce underneath adds a nice accent.
The fourth dish is the "Nagano Prefecture Shinshu Hata Kobo Koihime Strawberry Parfait" (1,890 yen including tax), which uses "Summer Autumn Strawberry 'Koihime'" grown in a greenhouse owned exclusively for Shiseido Parlour by Shinshu Hata Kobo. This dish allows you to enjoy plenty of strawberries, which are rare in the Kanto region and have a mellow flavor with little acidity, grown in the region's unique climate.
