
J.S. Steak Stand Kamakura, a counter-style steak stand (1F, Dai-ni Miyogawa Building, 1-4-18 Komachi, Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture) will open on August 16th along Wakamiya-oji Street in Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture. Unlike traditional steakhouses, this casual, upscale stand-style steak shop offers high-quality steaks, carefully prepared with exquisite sauces and cooked to perfection, all served quickly at the counter. Its most distinctive feature is its deep-frying technique, where lean meat is deep-fried in domestic beef tallow for a rich, juicy flavor. The meat is then grilled to a fragrant medium-rare perfection, with excess fat removed on a red-hot volcanic rock grill. To enhance the meat's rich flavor, customers can choose from six "fusion sauces" that combine American, Japanese, and Asian ingredients. The lineup includes "Standard Steak Soy Sauce," made with dark soy sauce, the flavor of onion, white wine, and wine vinegar; "Black Gravy Soy Sauce," a garlic and onion sauce made with brown sugar soy sauce, aged black mirin, black vinegar, and beef extract; "Green Shiso Chimichurri," made with plenty of green shiso, herbs, and onion, with light soy sauce and vinegar; "Red Hot Arrabbiata," a tomato-based sauce made with four types of chili peppers, including Korean chili powder and gochujang, and garlic; "Brown Double Pepper Cream," a spicy cream sauce with black pepper and sansho pepper; and "White Lime Ponzu," made with coarsely grated radish, the flavor of kelp, and bonito, and a salt-based ponzu sauce.
There are four cuts of meat available: "Chuck Eye Roll (Shoulder Loin)" (1,190 yen), "Sirloin" (1,750 yen), "Hanging Tender (Sagari)" (1,380 yen), and "Rough Cut Steak (Cuts of Various Cuts)" (1,190 yen), with a choice of 200g or 300g (price is for 200g). You can choose two side dishes from five: "Mashed Potatoes," "Sautéed Corn," "Grilled Onions," "Roasted Tomatoes," and "Sautéed Greens." Also, during lunchtime from 11:00 to 17:00, a salad, soup, and rice are included in the set.
From August 16th to 18th, the first 20 customers each day will receive a free ticket for a "Chuck Eye Roll Steak."
