Jean-Paul Hévin releases rich chocolate shaved ice "Glace Pire"

Jul 8, 2017

Jean-Paul Hevin has introduced "Glace Pire" (1,388 yen each, tax included), a crunchy shaved ice perfect for midsummer. It's available at Jean-Paul Hevin's eat-in space, "Bar à Chocolat," for a limited time until August 31st.

This frozen chocolate collection features a two-tiered structure of finely shaved ice and Chantilly cream. It features chocolate ice and a secret ingredient of bancha tea, resulting in a refreshing aftertaste.

Until July 31st, in addition to the existing "Glace Pire au Chocolat," which combines "Chocolat Glacée Nature Tradition" with frozen chocolate ice, you can also enjoy the new "Glace Pire au Chocolat Mirabelle," which combines French mirabelle plums and honey-scented Chantilly caramel. From August 1st to August 31st, the new "Glace Pire au Chocolat Cassis" will be available, featuring a cassis sauce made with generous amounts of French cassis and accented with basil sauce, as well as the refreshingly sweet "Glace Pire au Chocolat Ananas," a combination of Brazilian cacao and ananas (pineapple) sauce with pulp.

These products will be available at Isetan Shinjuku Main Store, Omotesando Hills Store, Tokyo Midtown Store, Mitsukoshi Sapporo Store, Mitsukoshi Sendai Store, Kyoto Store, and Iwataya Main Store, all of which have Jean-Paul Hévin Bar à Chocolat attached.
