
Starting July 1, Paris-based FAUCHON will be introducing its Summer Choffon series, a sweet and sour treat perfect for the summer season, made with plenty of refreshing mango and lemon. From FAUCHON's signature eclair series, the "Eclair Mango Banane" (600 yen) will be available for a limited time and in-store starting July 19. The puffed dough is filled with a light, subtly sweet caramel cream and lime-flavored mango sauce, and topped with a sugared margaret, creating a summery look and taste. Other items in the lineup include the refreshing lemon cake "Citron (Lemon Cheese Cream)" (250 yen), topped with lemon icing that's delicious even when chilled; "Bichon Mango/Citron" (300 yen each), a flaky, fragrant cake dusted with sugar and filled with fresh lemon and mango cream; and the lemon-flavored "Stollen Citron" (1,350 yen).
"Eclair Mango Banane" is available exclusively at Nihonbashi Takashimaya and Yokohama Takashimaya. Other new menu items will be sold sequentially at Nihonbashi Takashimaya, Shinjuku Takashimaya, Yokohama Takashimaya, Nagoya Takashimaya, and other stores.
