Isetan Shinjuku will completely remodel its baby and children's floor on the 6th floor of the main building. A soft opening will take place on October 1st, with a grand opening scheduled for spring 2015. Aiming to "support raising children to become world-class adults," the floor will revise its traditional age-based classification to incorporate parenting styles and values. Numerous new brands will be added, creating a unique baby and children's floor. The independently curated "Re-Style Kids" zone, celebrating its 10th anniversary, will expand in size. It will offer the latest kids' fashion from brands like "STELLA McCARTNEY KIDS" and "LITTLE MARC JACOBS," as well as Tokyo-based designer brands like "mina perhonen" and "BAPE KIDS®." The new independently curated "Tasteful Style" zone will propose lifestyle ideas through apparel, fashion accessories, and interior goods. The store will offer a selection of brands such as "BLUEBIRD BOULEVARD" and "Athena New York Girl," allowing moms and kids to enjoy the latest fashions.

Ahead of the grand opening, a new zone called "Park" will open on the sixth floor of the building around the escalators on October 1st. Various events will be held to hone sensibility through workshops that offer opportunities for learning through play. In addition, a park will be set up where parents and children can learn about the true meaning of Japanese and international seasonal almanacs. To meet the high demand for gifts on the floor, a "Baby Gift Station" will also be set up within the park, offering gift consultations and gift wrapping services. Furthermore, a juice stand featuring vegetables and fruits will open in March, as well as a zone suggesting settings for children's rooms and baths. The park will also feature features designed to encourage customers to explore the floor.

In addition, zones for "Maternity Birth Life," "School Life," and "Toys" will open in December. "Maternity Birth Life," which addresses concerns about pre- and post-natal fashion and childcare, offers carrier maternity styles and limited-edition maternity wear from women's brands in response to customer requests for enjoying maternity life in a style that suits them best. Baby items include not only clothing but also furniture, bedding, strollers, and carriers, all of which are proposed as fashion that adds color to a lifestyle. The toy section will also feature items themed around high-quality intellectual development through play, such as toys that foster music and art. The highlight of the science and culture category will be an interactive corner with content that changes daily. Unique toys that match the interests, curiosity, and expectations of parents will be selected, and new play ideas will be proposed. School Life aims to be a one-stop shop for all school wear, shoes, underwear, nightwear, and other school essentials, with stylists (sales staff) on hand to assist customers in their shopping.

Throughout the entire baby and children's floor, the facility will support child-rearing so that they can grow into adults who can compete on the world stage by providing opportunities and experiences to develop the five areas that the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology recommends children acquire by the time they graduate from kindergarten: health, relationships, environment, language, and expression.
