The Westin Tokyo (Meguro-ku, Tokyo) will host a buffet featuring spices from around the world and herbs from the Westin Garden at its international restaurant, The Terrace, from September 1 to 30, 2021. From cardamom, known as the queen of spices for its elegant fragrance, to saffron, which adds color to dishes, and exotic cumin, to dried dried herbs, essential to Chinese cuisine, and Japan's signature shichimi spice, the buffet features a wide variety of spices carefully selected by the executive chef. Fresh herbs and gently fragrant dried herbs carefully grown in the Westin Garden are generously used to create a variety of dishes. Authentic dishes that fully utilize the unique characteristics and appeal of each spice and herb, such as autumn mushroom and salmon fritters with herb salt or spiced salt, and pork barbecue with spicy mustard, will showcase the fragrant marriage of fresh seasonal ingredients. This buffet allows you to savor to your heart's content the fascinating world of spices and herbs, which add deep, rich flavors to dishes with their vibrant colors and gorgeous aromas.
