The Westin Miyako Kyoto (Address: 1 Awataguchi Kacho-cho, Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture) will host the "Early Summer Kyoto French Buffet" at its all-day dining restaurant, Rakuku, from May 1 to 31, 2023. Guests will enjoy casual French cuisine featuring the bounty of early summer, grown in the sunshine, complemented by Kyoto ingredients and the essence of Japanese cuisine.

The French-themed buffet will feature familiar dishes such as beef stroganoff, gazpacho, and pate de campagne, as well as a variety of French regional dishes prepared by the hotel chef using seasonal early summer ingredients. Our Japanese cuisine includes unusual dishes with a French flair, such as cream cheese chawanmushi. Other dishes include a mini Bisho beef burger, sakura shrimp and cabbage pasta, and a variety of other dishes, including Burgundy-style abalone teppanyaki (available only on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays) and trout and salmon roe balls. Our popular roast beef is also served with a French-style poivre sauce for both lunch and dinner. Enjoy a variety of French dishes that the whole family can enjoy.
