The lifestyle magazine "Kurashi no Oheso" (Heart Button of Living) is currently holding the "Heart Button Exhibition, Shopping Recommendations in Nihonbashi" at Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi Main Store. The exhibition showcases a selection of clothing, food, and shelter items selected from a "navel perspective," based on a person's "navel"—their everyday habits and ways of thinking. The exhibition also features various events in locations other than the main venue, the Central Hall on the first floor of the main building. The Lightwell on the third floor of the main building features the "Heart Button Library," where readers can relax on a sofa and read back issues of "Kurashi no Oheso" and related publications. Additionally, the event space on the fourth floor of the new building features a wide selection of cleaning products featured in "Kurashi no Oheso's Cleaning Book," a companion book to "Kurashi no Oheso." Additionally, on the 10th and 11th, a workshop on how to make homemade Chinese herbal medicine meals will be held at Hajimari Cafe on the seventh floor of the main building, led by herbal medicine stylist Yoshida Akiko. In the food category, Tokoromochaya, a popular shop in Kichijoji that combines a cafe and a shirt brand, will be exhibiting for the first time, offering shirts made from natural materials like cotton and linen, as well as classic scones with a simple yet gentle taste. Additionally, Urawa bakery Kubo Pan will offer bagels in a variety of flavors, including raspberry chocolate and sweet potato. In the home-related category, TRAM, a select shop for Scandinavian furniture and miscellaneous goods based in Fukuoka, will be exhibiting. Mayumi Mizukami of the shop says, "We carefully selected simple tableware that complements Japanese food." Sapporo-based workshop SAVON de SIESTA will also be selling soaps and creams crafted over more than a month using natural ingredients. Customers can choose ingredients such as lavender and citrus to suit their skin condition. The opportunity to experience items that cannot be directly accessed in Tokyo is one of the attractions of this exhibition. In the clothing category, the lineup includes STORE, which produces fashion items such as striped tops and dresses, and himie, an accessory brand created with the hope that its products will be cherished and passed down for 100 years to come. The buyer in charge commented, "I believe that people's habits change depending on what they own. I hope that the products collected through the filter of 'the center of life' will inspire you to make new discoveries and build a lifestyle that will further enhance you."
