For a limited time from July 1 to August 31, 2021, The Westin Tokyo will be offering "Summer Premium Parfaits," featuring different menus for daytime and evening dining, at the first-floor lobby lounge "The Lounge" and executive bar "The Bar." 
 
Three variations of each will be available: "Summertime Parfait," featuring layers of vibrant fruit accented with lime granita and shining in the summer sunlight; and "Twilight Parfait," available only in the evening, featuring the rich aroma of authentic Western liquor, creating a sophisticated atmosphere.
 
Each parfait features fresh and frozen fruit, as well as granita, sorbet, ice cream, and sauces, all meticulously handcrafted in the pastry kitchen. Our executive pastry chef meticulously layers each parfait to create a diverse experience.
Enjoy the cool harmony of high-quality ingredients with six different parfaits that change appearance between day and night.

Summertime Parfait
We offer three types of parfaits, featuring the vibrant colors of fruit sparkling in the summer sunlight.
All of them are made with a refreshing accent of lime granita and ice cream, and each is skillfully layered with a variety of ingredients, including "Rouge," which has a rich, sweet and sour taste of bright red berries, "Exotic," which is full of tropical aromas such as mango and passion fruit, and "Vert," which fully brings out the flavor of green fruits such as lime and green apple.
You can enjoy the chilled harmony of fruits, with a variety of flavors and textures and a cool, melt-in-your-mouth texture, carefully crafted by our executive pastry chef.

Executive Pastry Chef Kazuo Suzuki showcases his versatile skills and sensibilities in creating three parfaits for adults, each featuring fragrant, authentic Western liquors.
"Melon and Almond Milk," made with generous amounts of sweet domestic melon, is finished off with an exotic touch with the sweetly fragrant apricot seed liqueur "Amaretto." "Milk Chocolate and Bitter Chocolate," featuring a variety of milk and bitter chocolates, is paired with the deep, elegant flavor of rare "Marc de Champagne" brandy. "Coconut and Tropical Fruit," crafted like a "Pina Colada" cocktail, is crafted with soft, elegant, and aromatic rum and coconut liqueur, combining fresh pineapple, passion fruit, and coconut in an exquisite balance to create a tropical flavor for adults.

Born in Kanagawa Prefecture in 1967. Appointed Executive Pastry Chef at The Westin Tokyo in 2000. He oversees all pastry items in restaurants, lounges, banquets, etc. With a wide repertoire ranging from traditional European pastries to original, creative sweets, he is constantly developing new products. He is in charge of the dessert buffet at The Terrace at the same hotel, captivating many sweets fans. Suzuki's constant pursuit of delighting his guests has earned him many repeat customers for his sweets, which include classic favorites like cream puffs and soufflés, as well as his seasonal new creations, which have also garnered high praise.
