Josuian Co., Ltd. will begin selling its new product, "Salted Tomato Daifuku," at 23 directly managed stores, online, and on its e-commerce site from April 4th.

Sweet, juicy, and just the right amount of tart, tomatoes are a surprisingly good match with rice cakes and white bean paste. The key to bringing out the full flavor of the tomatoes is the salt powder sprinkled on top. From spring to early summer, Josuian's popular daifuku series will be joined by the new product, "Salted Tomato Daifuku," which will add a touch of color to Josuian's products.

The ideal tomato, with meaning behind it, is what makes daifuku so delicious.
"Tomato," "white bean paste," and "rice cake." The balance and quality of each ingredient is what makes Salted Tomato Daifuku so delicious. This salty dessert, with a new and unique taste, is made with tomatoes from the "Frutica" variety, which has a good balance of sweetness and sourness, homemade white bean paste, and soft and fluffy mochi daifuku, sprinkled with roasted salt powder produced in Okinawa Prefecture.

Long ago, we have operated as a place to prepare offerings for shrines and temples. Even today, we continue to devote ourselves to making Japanese sweets, preserving the traditional techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation, while incorporating the latest advances and learning from the past. Japanese sweets are said to be an art for the five senses, and we offer a selection of Japanese sweets that can be enjoyed with all five senses, including our now-famous Chikushi Mochi, the delightfully named Tottoto, seasonal Daifuku filled with seasonal ingredients such as strawberries, grapes, and chestnuts, as well as other high-quality fresh sweets for each season. We hope to accompany our customers' precious moments with Josuian's Japanese sweets.
